The Ontario Trillium Foundation, an agency of the Government of Ontario, has approved our application for funding and awarded us $150,000 towards the cost of upgrading the interior and exterior of our club. These upgrades include the completion of the outside cladding and insulation of the building and a lounge upgrade. The lounge upgrade encompasses upgrades to provide energy improvements for the club.
York Curling Club greatly appreciates and acknowledges the support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation in awarding us this funding. Congratulations to all who have been involved over the years, whose efforts positioned us to be eligible for this funding, and all the work creating the application for this grant.
The work will be planned and completed over the next 12 months and will require strong member support over this time.
