A member's seasonal fee is comprised of three components. All fees include HST.
- "Club Fee" - the amount which is based on the type of membership as detailed below.
- "Capital Fund Levy" - $60 annually charged to adults curling in any of the regular leagues.
- "League Fees" as detailed under "League Descriptions".
The following membership types are available at the York Curling Club:
Senior / Adult League Membership - Full Year
Annual Fee: $345.00This type of membership is for those who wish to participate in senior and adult league play (that is, in any league other than Juniors and Little Rocks). Members who are league participants are entitled to use club facilities, to book practice ice and (provided they have attained age 18) to vote at any meeting of YCC's membership.
**NOTE** Registrants under the age of 30 (born on or after July 1, 1995) may register as an Intermediate Adult League Participant
Capital Fund Levy - YCC commitment to meeting the needs of ongoing club maintenance and facility improvements.
($285 Club Fee + $60 Capital Fund Levy = $345)
$30 discount will be applied to all new members, regardless of registration date and returning members who register and pay in full prior to September 1, 2025.
Intermediate Adult League Membership
Annual Fee: $245.00This membership type is to encourage young adults 30 years or under (born on or after July 1, 1995) to participate in YCC adult league play (that is in any league other than Juniors and Little Rocks), or who wish to participate in both an adult and a youth league. Intermediate members are entitled to use club facilities, to book practice ice and (provided they have attained age 18) to vote at any meeting of YCC's membership.

(Club Fee $185 + Capital Fund Levy $60=$245)
$30 discount will be applied to all new members, regardless of registration date and returning members who register and pay in full prior to September 1, 2025.
Half Year Tag Membership
Annual Fee: $155.00For those Seniors wishing to join the Senior Tag League and participate for only half of the season (either October thru December or January thru April). Any member selecting this option will be wait-listed until September 1st and then placed into their selected time slots, if spots are available. If no spots are available you will be contacted to either change selection, put on a wait list or dues will be refunded in full. This membership type also allows a member to play in the Christmas or year-end Seniors closing bonspiel.

($125 Club Fee + $30 Capital Fund Levy = $155)
Friday or Saturday Special for New Members
Annual Fee: $160.00This membership type is to encourage new curlers to participate in YCC adult league play. This membership includes:
- the use of club facilities,
- league play on Friday or Saturday nights (additional league fee applies),
- sparing in Sunday open league,
- to participate in club bonspiels,
- to book practice ice, and
- to vote at any meeting of YCC's membership.
Capital Fund Levy - YCC commitment to meeting the needs of ongoing club maintenance and facility improvement.
(Club Fee $100 + Capital Fund Levy $60=$160)
NOTE - Additional League fees apply:
- Friday social - $140
- Saturday social - $115
Little Rocks (U12) League - club fee is waived
This type of membership is for those who wish to participate in only a youth league (namely, Juniors or Little Rocks) and is reserved for those under age 12 (specifically for the current season, those born on or after July 1, 2012). Members who are league participants are entitled to use club facilities and to book practice ice.
Junior (U15/U18/U21) League - club fee is waived
This type of membership is for those who wish to participate in only a youth league (namely, Juniors or Little Rocks) and is reserved for those under age 21 (specifically for the current season, those born on or after July 1, 2003). Members who are league participants are entitled to use club facilities, to book practice ice and (provided they have attained age 18) to vote at any meeting of YCC's membership.
Spare Only Membership
Annual Fee: $410.00Adults may choose a "spare only" membership covering all eligible leagues. It is their responsibility to ensure they add their name to the "My Subbing Availability" feature provided on the Member Login panel. This also provides full on-ice privileges for practice purposes.
NOTE: Sparing for teams that have lost a member due to medical withdrawal will be limited to 50% of the remaining games of the season, up to a maximum of 6 games.

($350 Club Fee + $60 Capital Fund Levy = $410)
Practice Ice Membership
Annual Fee: $150.00Practice Ice members are entitled to use club facilities and their on-ice privileges are limited to in-club bonspiels and for practice purposes. Practice ice must be booked in advance using the "Reserve Ice Time" feature on the YCC Member's Home page. Practice Ice members are not entitled to vote at any meeting of YCC's membership.
Pay-As-You-Play Spare
Annual Fee: $25.00The Pay-As-You-Play Spare Membership is primarily for past members and experienced curlers who have been unable to commit to a full season of curling but would like to get connected to the club. They will be allowed to spare in any league for a maximum of 5 games per season. Once registered as a Pay-As-You-Play Spare Member, which covers the cost of your first game, you must pay $25 at the bar for each subsequent game, where we will track the number of games for the season.
Social Membership
Social Members are entitled to use club facilities and their on-ice privileges are limited to in-club bonspiel events only. Social Members are not entitled to vote at any meetings of YCC membership unless they were former shareholders.
[Note: Upon application for social membership by a former YCC shareholder, honourary social membership status is conferred upon the applicant. The Board may also confer this status on any person who has rendered noteworthy service to the club. Please contact membership to register for honourary social membership.]
